We have peacocks out here in Santa Susana Pass (Simi Valley, CA). I like to play sound bytes of Peacocks and Peahens mating. They hear it and coming running over to my front yard. This is Pete. He is in our yard everyday without or without the prompting. Peacocks love dried meal worms or live ones. It is like chocolate to them. They also eat just about anything people eat. They are carnivorous creatures known for their beautiful feathers. Peacocks or peahens are related to the pheasant family.September 1st, 2010 Simi Valley CA
