Description:: Kloster Ebrach, a former Cistercian monastery, is in beautiful restored condition. The estate also houses the German Wine Academy - the local Sekt is a personal favorite. The Romanesque church was stripped of its art during several wars. The Gothic dormitory at 73 m (240 ft) is one of the longest halls in Germany from the period.
