Description:: Lindau is Bavaria’s toehold on the Bodensee, Germany’s largest lake. It has a lovely old town on an island linked to the mainland by road and rail bridge. A large lion at the harbor entrance reminds that this Bavaria. Views of the Alps can be enjoyed from almost any vantage point.
