Description
The former Karmeliterkloster (Carmelite Monastery) has the largest religious wall paintings north of the Alps. The 140-m painting was painted in the 15th century by Jörg Ratgelb. Parts of the monastery houses the archeology museum but the paintings and cloisters may be seen for free.
