Description
Although this little one wasn't flying we had a chance to do a bit of rescue with the help of a Park Ranger. When we entered the bedroom of our cabin we were startled to find this flying squirrel must have flown in between residents. It was very dehydrated and we carefully carried it outside and contacted the Park Ranger who was delighted to come to its and our assistance. He said they were one of his favorite creatures and the next day told us he had hooked it up to an IV and it was doing fine. We also saw lots of birds, deer, rabbits and raccoons during our stay.
