Description
It was a gorgeous day, so a neighbor and I went to Balboa Lake for a walk. I love that park - it is quiet and scenic; and a great place to view a variety of birds, including egrets, herons and pelicans especially during winter time. We walked around the park and saw a flotilla of pelicans wintering on the lake. Pelicans are so majestic - they look like galleons under full sail, aren't they?
